Job Overview:
As the Vice President of Regional Advice Manager, you will play a key role in leading a business of field-based advisors throughout the country in local markets for the Investor Focused Solutions channel for LPL. This position may include managing direct reports that consist of both field-based financial advisors and market leaders who also mange advisors. Key responsibilities include driving strategies and tactics that may be unique to local markets, collaboration with other leaders in local markets, ensuring the team delivers the highest quality client experience possible both over the phone and in-person with clients, helping the team deepen and grow existing client relationships, ensuring operational excellence is maintained, cultivating a learning culture where advisors and market leaders are coached and developed, and recruiting advisors. In this role you would also be responsible for achieving success metrics in-line with delivering a world-class experience for clients and overall profitability of the program.
The successful leader will:
• Be able to successfully build and cultivate a strong recruiting pipeline of future financial advisors
• Ensure advisors are meeting and achieving training modules and preparing for assessments.
• Lead training and develop activities, tools, and routines to help enable productivity.
• Lead market management routines with teams and coach on market execution.
• Support leaders in implementing effective performance management, including goal setting, incentive, and other reward, and recognition mechanisms.
• Coaching and Development: Work closely with field advisors, coaching for successful transitions to future advisor opportunities within LPL.
• Build and manage relationships across the franchise.
• Sales Force Expansion: Support sales management in executing sales force growth plans and support effective advisor recruiting strategies.
• Sales Supervision: Administer superior sales supervision/practices in the market.
Responsibilities:
• Supporting the recruitment of advisors by selling them on the mission and vision of the Succession Program. Helping transition advisors through graduation to Linso outplacements.
• Building and maintaining strong advisor relationships while at the same time balancing this against the profitability of the model.
• Playing a role in setting the strategic visions of a field based model withing IFS and tactically executing on that vision.
• Maintaining high advisor retention and satisfaction.
• Coaching and development of our market leaders.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Requirements:
• A minimum of 10 years of financial services experience
• A minimum of 2 years management experience
• Frequent travel up to 50%, potentially on a weekly basis to local offices
• Strong wealth management experience and a track record of bringing on recruits and integrating them into a new firm

Qualifications:
• Experience in both a branch and home office strongly preferred
• Experience as a branch manager and managing multiple offices is preferred
• Series 7, 66 required; 9/10 preferred
• Ability to motivate employees, build teams and drive outcomes
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and respect while at the same time being able to maintain the integrity of the model
• A highly strategic thinker, with the ability to assess complex problems, prioritize key issues, focus on relevant facts and maintain a strong execution focus
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present materials to the highest levels in the organization and serve as a recognized subject matter expert, as well as the ability to frame complex issues visually
• Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels and lead change
• Awareness of industry dynamics and best practices

Pay Range:
$198,900.00 - $331,500.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
